3 new Chamois sizes, something for everyone.
27 November 2012
We have all had that time when we use a new chamois and have massive disappointment as it either A: seems to not work, pushing water over the car rather than drying it up or B: works too well, gripping and dragging along the paint, making it quite a difficult and laboursome job! Our years of development and searching have paid off, we now have our latest version of what we see as the best chamois on the planet.
THE HOLY GRAIL OF CAR CARE
Some good news, what we see as the holy grail of car care, a chamois that really does work! We have done all the testing and found a special material that will out-perform PVA, synthetic, waffle drying towels or natural leather chamois materials.
LOVES A DRINK
This chamois is brilliant in that it just glides across the surface absorbing 5x its body weight in water before needing to be wrung out. What this means is you can go further than most conventional old chamois types for an easier job.
FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE?
You find you dont have to go over the same area multiple times to get that perfect finish. Once is generally enough to soak up all the water, again something that saves massive amounts of time.
GREAT ON GLASS
This material works a treat of glass, for the best finish we recommend doing the glass first on your car when the chamois is dry, for up lovely, water spot free finish.
NO ATTACHMENT ISSUES
One of the biggest issues we faced with any chamois that works, is the way they work too well, attaching to the paint and dragging/ rolling across the surface. This makes for a really tiring job, not to mention it is always stripping the precious wax coat from your paint, so you will be needing to re-wax more often! Our material does not do either, it effortlessly glides over the paint, absorbing water and keeping the wax on your paint as well.
LOW MAINTENANCE
Our chamois does not like to live in a container, in fact it's most happy to be left in the bucket after being rinsed out in fresh water after each use. Stored dry or wet, it does not matter, it lives happily both ways.
SIZES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
We have three new sizes in the chamois, depending on your needs:
1. Little Ripper: A size that has been a popular favorite for many generations of car fanatics, and even at this smaller size it is still super effective, more than any other chamois you may have had in the past.
2. Big Bugger: An ideal size and our most popular for many of the more serious car enthusiasts, generally you only need to wring this one out a couple of times when doing a family sized car, saves time and is still nice and easy to manage.
3. Super Bloody Huge: Bigger is better and we have created the worlds biggest chamois! Only the most hardcore enthusiasts or pro detailers need apply with this massive one. Custom made with speed in mind, get the technique right and we find you can dry an entire car without having to wring it out, a massive saving in time.
If you're thinking this one is a bit intimidating, then think about getting it and cutting it into custom sizes, which save you quite a bit of $$$. You can make 4 Little ripper Chamois or 2 Big Buggers and a bit left over. Have a read of our article on this super bloody huge chamois and the ways to use it by clicking here.
